No one has this developed, yet. Part of the reason is that some studie show that the one-step-checkout might be less effective nowadays.
Especially on mobile there are people who think this creates too long pages.

But...we still have customers who would like to have a one-step-checkout, so it would be interesting to find out how much it would cost to have this feature developed.

What: There are quite a few version of the one step checkout but I think the one on https://www.thedronefactory.net/ works quite well.

How: IMO, whend developed, this should be a feature that is available in the store settings. And also part of trunk because there are quite a few dependencies on other modules. I'm not a developer but I can imagine that it is a fundamentally different setup that the default. In the one step scenario, there is no seperate checkout module, no seperate payment module... So, some tricky parts.

Questions, mainly to Dave:
1. are my assumptions correct?
2. Do you agree on how to take it on?
3. is there a rough estimate to make?
A rough estimate because it might be a wish that stays a wish for quite some time untill the necessary funding is completed.
