Hi there

For those who need it: I have exported a DNN 9.0.2 website including NbrightBuy.
You can download it here
https://tjeps.com/Portal...Nbright-templateDNN9.rar

Give it a spin and if you have any feedback, let me know.

Kind regards
Tycho

Is this DNN site template? I haven't downloaded, so I'm curious "why would I use it"? and "how can I help"?

Hi Daniel

Yes, this is a DNNN site template.
Why would you use it? Because it save time :-)

If you start from scratch, you create a site using the DNN site wizard.
All pages are created, alle modules on the pages.

What you need to do yourself is configure the back office: merchant details and store configuration.
You can have your store up and running in 30 minutes :-)

You can help by creating a store by using the site wizard and this template.
I always use NVQuicksite for this kind of stuff. Create a site in 5 minutes in a local system.

If you run into any issues, let me know and I'll try to create a better template.

Cheers
Tycho

OK - cool. I have a project that has many 'satellite' stores (specific to a car model like Mustang) where the primary store is a car parts catalog.

I use the DNN templating to launch the new satellites, and yes, the store has to be configured.

So is the template you are offering a DNN 9 'blank' site with the store modules in place?

If so - awesome - thanks for contributing!

That's what it aims to do, yes :-)
For DNN 8 Dave already provided a template site, so I wanted to check whether it is possible to create for DNN 9 as well.

So, the time it saves is
- to install the modules (this is done during site creation)
- create pages
- put modules on the pages
- pointing the right theme per module

I too have several customers with sub shops / satellite shops and this way, I can create a shop in less time than before.

Hi,

i just started using the nbright store, and unlucky me, my dnn platform is already version 09.01.01.

So after a first semi-sucessfull try, i stumbled upon your template. I set up a new page with the template and ran into the same issue. I can not get the product detail view to work. The detail page itself kinda works, it shows "product not found" if i open itself.
Using the link on a product (the magnifying glass), it opens the link www.website.com/Productd.../103/eid/111/productname and runs into 404-not found.

I already checked the back office settings like 5 times, but the setting for product detail is existing.

Any ideas where to start looking?

Thanks!

First guess would be the product detail module settings.

Hi!
Thanks for your input.

Yeah that is definitly a good possibility, i have some trouble understanding the parameters...
First of all, is it correct that it is the module "NBS_ProductDisplay"? Because that would be the same module which is used for the product list.

Furthermore, is there a documentation on how to configure this module as product-Detail view? I have been searching for a while and no luck...
(e.g. do i set the "Product Detail" page to itself when i want to use the module as detail view? How do i tell the module to act as detail instead of a product list?)

Yes, it's that module. It's can be used in multile places to disply products.

This is the docs for instal: http://nbsdocs.nbrightpr...rator-guide/Installation

Not much I'm afraid, hopfully it'll improve in furture.

And yes, set the module to itslef (or leave product detail page empty).

Yeah i followed this documentation. It seems to be sufficient for most users, as nobody seems to have the same issue ;)

So which of the parameters defines that this is a detail view?
I havent used the Detail Module Key yet, as it states it is used if there are multiple ProductDisplays on one page.

That sounds right, check your products and visible and valid.

EDIT: Oh, i got it...it does not work as the link is not ending with the .aspx extension, so i think this might be an issue with the IIS configuration...

Same issue as here:
https://forum.nbrightpro...t4-Module-Detail-No-work

Sorry :)

Since other links (eg. mini basket) of the nbrightproject are using /Default.aspx at the end, i decided to change the NBS_ProductDisplayList.cshtml

Line 98: @ResourceKey("ProductView.viewicon-lg")
Line 117:
@ProductName(info)

Is this Template also compatible with DNN 9.2 as the change is substantial

Kind regards,

I don't think so. At least I haven't got it working as the structure is quite different.
